- Tax Services
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns
- Assist with tax planning, projections, and notice resolution

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification preferred

Operations Director Detweiler Hershey & Associates (DHA)
Position Overview
The Operations Director leads the firm’s day-to-day operations and ensures execution aligns with strategic priorities. This role partners with the partner group to translate vision into action, driving efficiency, accountability, and consistency across workflows.
Primary Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Execution
- Translate goals into actionable plans
- Drive accountability across DHA team
- Ensure follow-through on priorities
Operational Oversight
- Direct oversight of administrative roles
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Maintain visibility into workflow and deadlines
- Lead capacity planning and staffing coordination
- Implement process improvements
- Oversee accounting functions within the firm (time and billing, generating of receipts and deposit of bills, firm accounting and payroll)

What You’ll Do
Client Accounting Services
- Perform monthly bookkeeping for multiple business clients
- Code and classify transactions in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and related balance sheet accounts
- Review books for missing information, unusual transactions, duplicate activity, and inconsistencies
- Maintain monthly bookkeeping checklists and workpapers
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Post payroll entries and support bookkeeping cleanup projects
Client Engagement
- Request missing information and documentation from clients
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping needs and deadlines
- Help clients maintain organized and accurate financial records throughout the year
Workflow & Team Contribution
- Track recurring tasks, client requests, and deadlines using workflow tools
- Collaborate with CAS leadership and senior team members
- Escalate complex accounting or client service issues when appropriate
- Support the continued growth of the firm’s CAS and RAMP Advisory Services practice
